Make tomorrow real today...

"Make tomorrow real." This was the challenge laid down by technology research body CableLabs. They wanted to showcase the vital role superfast networks will play in transforming daily life for the better.

Ivory created two films to make this future feel real here and now. One focused on how next-generation lifestyle and entertainment technology will transform family downtime. The other – commissioned on the success of the first – explored how healthcare technology might make us all healthier and happier, for longer.

Both films used clever production design and high-end VFX to bring as-yet-unrealised tech to life, while grounding everything with relatable human stories. Far from high concept, this is the future of the everyday.

The films were complemented by a number of “behind the tech” videos from leading technology experts.

These made the sci-fi real and drove home the optimistic message behind it. We also created a microsite bringing all the videos and campaign material together in one place.

Taken together, the campaign was both a compelling fictional portrait, and the driving force of a real conversation about how to make the fiction a reality.
