The whole world view...

Our aim is to inspire positive change by integrating sustainability into our entire business strategy and throughout the projects we deliver. To achieve this, we’ve identified five goals:

1. Continually review and enhance our processes and practices
2. Measure and reduce our carbon emissions
3. Improve our internal resources, training and awareness
4. Work with our supply chain to be sustainable more widely
5. Create change that is positive, measurable and meaningful

So far, we’ve backed up this commitment by attaining ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 20121 (sustainable events).

But it’s not just about running our business in a way that reduces environmental impact. It’s about trying to drive change. That’s why we added goal five. To make sure we work with clients and their audiences to make sustainable behaviour part of the story.

For conferences and tradeshows, that might mean promoting the use of hybrid events rather than fully in-person attendance, to reduce the number of guests flying in from afar.

Or it’s about reusing and recycling materials. We’ve convinced a number of our clients to store and reuse their exhibition stands, which can be easily repurposed without looking tired. And we work with our partners to store and reuse anything we can from our builds.

We also aim to include audiences in this effort. For a recent conference, we gave attendees prepaid travel cards, so they’d use public transport, and swapped their landfill-bait event giveaways for donations to local charities.

Sustainability isn’t a bolt-on for us. It’s integral to what we do and the stories we tell. We hope you’ll hold us accountable to our goals. In turn, we’ll push for meaningful change in the work we do for you.
